I loved this game as a kid

Honestly, i grew up with Halo from the early to mid 2000s starting with CE on my brother’s original Xbox, then spent a good portion of Halo 2 when we didn’t have Xbox Live. Halo 3 was good, ODST was a pure bliss, and Reach was a soft spot. Then 4 I remember I liked because it was 2012 and the time of gaming was just so new & kinda fresh. Then 5 was okay, I was never good at it but remember countless hours of playing Warzone Firefight. I’m glad Infinite made MP more easy and convenient for me and others and yeah I do agree that the sandbox needs to bring back that old school feel. But thankfully MCC is here to stay and be preserved.

Halo classic multiplayer is an absolute dumpster fire nowadays. Nothing but pro players left and veterans who never moved on. For the new players or people who arent very good like me, SWAT is your best bet.

There was a Black Ops 2 iOS game, that played well.

Several years ago, I bought the Valve Complete Pack for my crappy integrated graphics PC during a Steam Summer Sale. CZ being one of the few games I could really run, a spotty internet connection, and wanting some corridor-shooting after having played MWR on the Xbox, I eventually grew a bit of a soft spot for it and Deleted Scenes. I had heard the CZ development was hellish, but... yikes. I still keep up with groups that uncover old cut Gearbox era stuff. All the ideas and whatnot from that era were honestly pretty ambitious. What a shame it turned out the way it did.

The last really good BF was 4. For everyone that wants to play something similar, try out Enlisted. It is good, not as BF was, but it gives a similar feeling. I Also recommend War Thunder for the vehicle mayhem oriented. Both are free with all the bad things free games bring, you have nothing to lose if you don't like. Peace.

Except for playing at my friends houses...I started with WAW on the wii lol I was a beast online but hated the fact it didnt have zombies. Thankfully I got a ps3 that xmas!

A reminder that there is a setting to hide the new cosmetics added in Halo 3 MCC (it will just show players using said armors in Mark VI or Combat, depending on their preferred species), though unfortunately it is all or nothing, mean if you like the new visor colors but still want just classic Halo 3 armors shown, you are out of luck.

This had a free time-limited trial of the entire game on Xbox 360... You could pop your 360's HDD into a PC and edit the trial's timer with a hex editor to be basically infinite, so got the full game for free...

24:06 i genuinely kind of wished you mentioned RGH 3 being new though because its a whole lot easier to mod the console now (still need to solder a few wires), and you can read the nand with a pi pico which are really cheap

"CoD campaigns were always decent"🤓. Thats such a dumb fuckin thing to say, they arent "decent" theyre great thats such an understatement. They had such good gameplay and narrative. You know a game is great when even the tapped geeks say a masterpiece isnt a masterpiece, or its just decent. Youd be wrong since critics, and users rated campaigns of the previous Modern Warfares very positively and World at War is literally PRAISED for its narrative and writing. The narrative is a masterpiece by all means and its a dumb thing to say

I would say minimum for this game to play well is a 4060 (never get a 4060)

Halo is currently in a very bad time, at least on the multiplayer side, I also consider the Halo community has always given greater importance to the campaigns unlike Gears for example, which although multiplayer is an extra it is still quite active and loved Because of its community, even classic Xbox 360 games tend to find play faster than any Halo.

360 version isn't really laggy

MP was fun, just no single player.

This game was so fire back in the day and I still have fun on it now. Graphically on an actual PS Vita screen it looks really good, maybe not killzone mercenary good but still good. The only real problem with this game was the lack of progression. Prestige does nothing but reset and give you a new emblem and no camo grind. This game was still super fun though but only for the multiplayer. Survival and campaign were so boring and bland but thats why you played other games when u had no internet.
